Brief Biography Yvonne Aarden has been a national educational consultant for the past fourteen years working with teachers and students in Grades K – college level. Her forty years of teaching experiences include elementary, middle, junior and senior high as well as University. In 1989 she won the U.S. West Award and had a year’s sabbatical to research best teaching practices in the U.S.A and Canada.
Yvonne has developed courses for teachers at the University level and has created training models and manuals for staff development. Her educational passions are children’s literature, storytelling, poetry, integrating the curriculum and critical literacy.
