Brief Biography Dona McIlvain currently works as the literacy specialist in two schools. She works as staff developer, curriculum specialist and teacher of struggling readers.
In addition, Dona trains educators at district, county, and state-wide institutes. She is an innovative and exemplary teacher, who believes guiding and immersing children in their own independent learning and thinking is the greatest gift we can offer them.
