Information Circles

Students are faced with the job of reading and interpreting informational text on a daily basis. Informational Circles, literature circles involving informational text, is a way to empower students to use synthesis and evaluation, two of Bloom’s Taxonomies highest thinking skills. Students learn how to question deeply and discuss with peers points of confusion and interest.
