This workshop will explore proven methods to help all children become successful and proficient readers of nonfiction materials so that they are able to access and comprehend factual information from a variety of sources for different purposes.

Participants will learn step by step how teach reading strategies for learners ranging from early emergent to fluent. Instructional strategies in whole class, small group and individual settings will be highlighted.
