An overview of issues in the field, including but not limited to, censorship, media literacy, informational text, graphic novels and the "new" publishing, copyright and plagerism, etc. This workshop makes teachers think about how to answer children's questions (and parents demands) for high quality literature reflecting the values of the school and community.
